UrgeLock is committed to making this website usable for as many people as possible, including people who use assistive technology such as screen readers, screen magnifiers, or keyboard-only navigation. This statement explains what we have done, where we know the site can still improve, and how to reach us if something is not working for you.
Conformance status
This website is built to meet the WCAG 2.1 level AA guidelines (the basis of Israeli Standard IS 5568 and of accessibility law in many countries). Accessibility is an ongoing effort, and we test and improve the site over time rather than treating it as finished.
What we have done
- Semantic, structured HTML with clear headings and page landmarks (header, main, footer);
- A "skip to content" link for keyboard users;
- Full keyboard operability, with a visible focus outline on every interactive element;
- Text and interface colors checked for sufficient contrast against their backgrounds;
- Meaningful alternative text on images, and decorative visuals hidden from assistive technology;
- Respect for the "reduce motion" system setting: animations are stopped for people who prefer that, and the scrolling strip also pauses on hover;
- A responsive layout that reflows for small screens and remains usable when the page is zoomed;
- The site's language is declared so screen readers pronounce it correctly.
Known limitations
We are aware of the following, and none of them block access to any information or function on the site:
- The phone illustration in the hero is decorative. It can be spun with a mouse for fun, but that interaction carries no information, is not required, and is hidden from assistive technology.
- Some visual polish (a soft glow, a faint texture) is purely cosmetic and conveys no content.
Compatibility
The site is designed to work with current versions of major browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) on desktop and mobile, together with their built-in assistive technologies. It also honors your operating system's dark or light theme and your reduced-motion preference.
